Much to discuss! (But too tired to do so.)

Saturday: Went to Nyack with Announcement and his daughter for her very first They Might Be Giants concert; spent much of the visit correcting people’s assumptions about the nature of our relationship. (“His daughter! All his! Not mine!”)

Sunday: Went to the Big Apple Con at the Pennsylvania Hotel with Dave B., where I saw Adam West(!!!) and bought vintage paperbacks (Tales of the White Hart by Arthur C. Clarke, and The Dead Zone by Stephen King with photos from the David Croenenberg film adaptation).

Monday: Arrived at work at 9:30 a.m., only to realize that I was on night shift and thus six hours early. Oops. Went to Mid-Manhattan library to pick up items on hold (including vols. two and three of the Temeraire series—Napoleonic AU...with dragons!), then walked to theater on 42nd treet and saw Borat (60/40 split between laughter and cringing).

In lieu of a proper entry, have a tarot quiz:

You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.
