SPN, ep 5.15 - "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid"

SPN - Fangirls
Dean: "Another Horseman. Must be Thursday."

Sam: (inching forward) "Yeah, I'm going to regret this."

Bobby: (to Dean) "Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?"

Note to self: In the unlikely event that I
  1. Get married
  2. Get possessed
  3. Get killed by my spouse
  4. Resurrect with
    (a) a message for my partner from Death
    (b) a growing, irresistible hunger for human flesh

It is better to write a note conveying Death's message and then use one of the dozens of guns in the house to shoot myself in the head, rather than making my grieving spouse a serial uxoricide.

yeah, those were my favorite quotes from the ep too.

also, you can't tell at all that the spn creators watch buffy

(buffy: Dawn's in trouble. must be tuesday)

yeah, it would have been cooler if Karen was on top of things. Or if the sheriff had stopped sam and went in to take care of her zombie son herself. that would have been kick ass.

oh the show, empower the women. we're a lot more kick ass then you let us be.

TOTAL Buffy shout out. :)

I was okay with the sheriff letting Sam take out her son, because killing one's child (even if s/he's become a murderous ghoul) is a uniquely terrible act -- look at Medea, or some of the fallout over Torchwood: Children of Earth. The fact that she was able to pull herself together and save Bobby and Dean afterward was sufficiently hardcore.

But yeah, when Karen told Dean that it was the responsibility of a married person to give their spouse peace, I could hear the ep climb into that Hellbound Handbasket.
