Get a straight answer from my boss about when I can go on vacation so I can chose my Xmas travel options (i.e., please don't let all the flights to Tampa be sold out)
Write a post expressing my displeasure with AMC’s The Prisoner (which I finished watching this past Sunday), particularly the writer’s decision to consign every major female character to obliteration, one way or another.

The original series had some disposable pseudo-love interests, but it also had a lot of capable, competent women who clearly had lives independent of Number Six, some of whom were villains (including a few Number Twos). I find it really sad that a show from the 1960s has more rounded female characters than its twenty-first-century sequel/homage.

So do I, and I'm not just talking about "The Prisoner". I mean, the Sixties had their own occasional (even frequent) sexism!fail, but when they were willing to experiment, they were better than some of the oh-so-edgy genres of the Noughties.
