Well, I’m off to the Greenwich Village Antiquarian Book Fair. It’s always fun to check out book-fair crowds; they’re a lot like record-fair and SF-con crowds, just less likely to wear costumes or exhibit alarming amounts of butt cleavage. I may even find something I want that I can afford. More likely I’ll spend the time periodically picking up an interesting looking book, finding the pencilled price on the flyleaf, blanching, carefully reshelving said book, and then backing away slowly as from an unexploded bomb.
